Our chocolate is thoughtfully dosed at 10mg to allow you to use in any number of situations.  For example:

Added bonus: Alcohol impairs sleep.  Many people believe that a 'nightcap' will help them sleep.  Actually, it has the opposite effect!  So skip that last drink and replace it with a healthy, natural alternative which works.

Less potent than the high you get from Delta 9. Too much Delta 9 can even result in paranoia and increased anxiety, which is unlikely when using Delta 8.

Since the edibles need to go through the entire digestive system before reaching the bloodstream, they need more time than smoking or vaping. Each person's speed of metabolism and tolerance is different, so each person's experience will vary.  

The approximate period when the edibles start to take effect is between 45 minutes to 2 hours after consumption.

Once Delta 8 reaches your bloodstream and comes in contact with your CB1 and CB2 receptors, expect to feel the effects much longer than smoking or vape. The duration of the effects can be anywhere from 4 to 12 hours.  

The simple answer is quality and purity of our D8 isolate.  The higher the purity level the more concentrated it is and the fewer impurities it contains.  When we set out to make a better edible, we knew there were plenty of options on the market that were relatively low quality.  Poor quality ingredients, poor taste profiles and low levels of purity.  We realized that there were a lot of people exploring the world of edibles that were looking for something a little bit better. Better ingredients deliver a better experience.

After doing our research we realized that the customers we support are not interested in the equivalent of Fast Food.  Rather, our customers care about what they put into their body.  This motivated us to create a better tasting, higher quality and healthier option. Like food, there is a BIG difference between 90+% purity of Delta 8 isolate and 60% purity.  Oddly enough, many of the poorer quality products have a premium price tag.

As a premium product brand, we recognize that consumers seeking a Delta 8 relaxing experience are seeking Delta 8, not D8 mixed with a bunch of impurities and chemicals.

Delta 8 may result in a positive drug.  If you encounter drug testing due to the nature of your job, you should use caution.

This answer isn’t the same for everyone, as it depends on where you live. Hemp is largely being legalized across the world, but not every US state has the same regulations related to Delta 8.  Either way, Shift Delta 8 comes from hemp and the 2018 Farm Bill legalized industrial hemp and any of its derivatives.  

Our chocolate contains less than 0.3% Delta THC as required.   

But, we strongly advise you to check the laws in your state.   We will do not ship to states that have specific regulations against Delta 8.  We are not responsible for knowing whether this product is legal in your area and you assume full responsibility for your purchase.  We do not sell to individuals under the age of 21.  

Shift chocolate is best stored out of reach of children in a cool, dry place.  Chocolate loves to be stored at approx. 65-70F in a dark spot with low humidity.
